A couple of weeks ago we had people go into our class and help us understand code and most importantly understand robots and computers and how to make them to do something like jump or walk. So first off we learnt about cargo-bot that was an app on the Ipad and your objective was to move something to its correct place. Then we played with an app named pyonkee and this app had an interesting perspective to it. Basically you move a character named pyonkee to many different places like a desert or space and also it isn't just pyonkee there whales, dolphin and many other interesting lifeful characters. So the final one is named tickle and we also played with robots directly from tickle like BB-8 and Ollie. BB-8 was an interesting star wars the force awakens robot who embarks on an adventure and goes along with the storyline. Ollie on the other hand can do tricks jumps change colour and much more. These two simple robots can be controlled from tickle and it was a blast robo shops and we all enjoyed it.
