Our Friday Pie Day Ad

Today we decided to make a friday pie day ad here is what we are using friday pie day and what it is.Friday pie day is a concept that room 20 and room 19 in Taps came up with to fundraise for our camp and every friday there is mince and cheese pies for sale.So down below watch the video and you will see our groups friday pie day ad so go check it out and I will see you next time!

My Umbrella Art

Today we made umbrella art for writing.We had to make a gem poem (Gems are describing words) about rain and bad weather.These poems were then going to be used to go with our art that we did.If you look down below you will see our art.This is a multi media piece of art which means one bit of it is media and one is not so first we coloured in the umbrella with pencils and cut them out.But then we took a picture of our legs and stuck the umbrella on the top part and the legs on the bottom and we then proceeded to stick our poem on and then we were done!

BP Challenge 2 The Structure

Today we had to make a freestanding tower out of paper.Our group used the twin towers concept.Our structure was quiet delicate and a tiny bit strong.We gave our tower stables and tiny blue pieces of paper to strengthen it.So altogether we gave our tower a six out of ten because our tower was near finished and our walkway fell off which was the ending part.

Reading Contract T2 WK1

Our topic of inquiry this term is inventions & creators. So our reading is all about this.I will be completeing one page per day.Here it is.

Museum Trip

Today we went to the museum.We looked around some exhibits that were named after a warrior named Uenuku and we got a thorough explanation on it by this guy named Mr T. Mr T was the guidance of our trip and we learnt that Uenuku was found in lake ngaroto and there were some other parts that were inspirational and an overview of our school back in the olden days.This was a fun trip and thank you to Mrs Bron and Mr T for being our guidance and sorting out this wonderful trip.

Firefighter

Today we had two firefighters come round to our school. There names were Wayne and Ian. We asked them a mountain load of questions about them and my favourite one was what do you have to do to be successful in life? this is a cool question that brung a lot out of them.This was took 45 minutes but it was really fun and enjoyable and we learnt to follow what you love through every step of the way.Thank you the fire department for this experience and we enjoyed it.

Jandal Art

Today we made jandal art. This was a clay and or water and we made real life sized jandals. Also it was really fun and enjoyable.

Police Visit!

Today we had two very special police officers. Their names were Constable Alex and Constable Rainer. Also two people interviewed them which was Teina and Ashley.We asked normal questions to them and then we had the Yes Or No questions. My favourite question was who was your biggest inspiration? question and they answered with... why I wanted to become a cop was to help people out and drive cars fast and everything.So yeah this was a mega cool interview for me and our class!

The Arguments

Sister shouting. My anger went over the roof.  This was it, my rage caressed and assembled together,this was the last straw.  Next second I started fighting back as my mouth moves quickly up and down.  My rage was at the max as my sister starts shouting in infuriating anger again I wonder what was gonna happen next?

Anger echos once again as mum gets exponentially mad.  Her face goes cherry red as I stomp and storm back to my room.  Mum starts shouting and screaming at me as I bawled out my tears.  ¨ I cant let this happen¨ I quickly thought my voice goes to a high pitch as I get told off more and more and more.

My frustration was 100% complete.  I fled the conversation and gave up.  My anger rushed and ran away, but this was the first of one of these ARGUMENTS!

Golf

Today we did golf with our whole class.  We learnt a stance named tilt,pop and drop this would be the first stance that you would be doing.  Then we learnt how to get ready to hit the golf ball positioned on the little podium.  Then we quickly adapted (learned) how to directly hit the golf ball and for the finale we learnt how to do the beautiful pose.  Also we took some photos that should be displayed down below of the some of the context that I talked about in this blog.  Altogether the class enjoyed it very much and it was awesome thank you waikato golf for this joyful experience with our classroom.

First Aid Training

So today we had first aid training with two people one of them was named Dave and the next named William.We learned doctors abc here's what it means D=Dangers,R=Responsive,S=Send for help,A=Airway,C=CPR and finally B=Breathing.So that was the doctors abc that we learnt it was alot of fun doing this and I hope our whole class enjoyed it.Also the pictures below are of CPR  and the Recovery Position that was in progress as you can see these photos are presented below.

My Swimming Sports Day

Rock,stone.  Gravel.  Metal cages fence off the chlorine infested pools.  Changing rooms stand still and don't move a muscle.  Spectators peer over and cruise around loudly as divers get ready.  Hearts racing as i remember im up next.  Oh! No!

Exciting event. Im up I mentally prepare myself like im a gym leader preparing to do his first flip this was a massive extravaganza.  3 2 1 … go! I kicked off the edge of the bone chilling pool liquid and got shot off like a torpedo.  Numbers change exponentially and drastically as I swim like my life depended on it.  Arms moving.  End in sight.  My drenched hands touch the end getting ready to see the ticking time to see if I got a rainbow selected block.  

Time is … exactly 25 seconds not bad I thought.  But I didn´t get a block for my house color (blue) But I wonder who got first place?

My Sister and her Temper tantrums

Woohoo! I gently think as I get into my large but not huge house joyful as ever until my infuriated sister came home.  Memories fade in, as she starts rambling on about school but then … raging goes from zero to one hundred very quick.  Shouting echos through the hallway, like as fast as trees produce air and that is very fast.  All of a sudden anger, rage, all of it gets released deeply on us like we are on Pacman and the ghosts are unbelievably mad.Scream contest begins, like a WWE wrestling match to see who can win.  Suddenly, the storm of my ferocious sisters madness passes over the horizon and that was powerful.
